Kinto doesn’t need any introduction but anyway yes, I get you covered soon with this article.
For the few ones that have never heard about it, Kinto is a well-known Japanese company, makers of high-end handmade products, including drinkware, tableware, kitchenware and interior.
Established in 1972 in Shiga, Japan, Kinto first started by producing tableware. And over the years, it started exported worldwide. We need to wait until 2016 to see the first EU center in The Netherlands, Amsterdam.
You may wonder what has made Kinto so famous Worldwide.
Well, probably was one of the first company that first add a minimalistic design on their product along with their usability, making a winning combo that has shaped Kinto’s identity.
But not only that. Kinto products it’s also a pleasure to the touch to accompany every moment of your day, from breakfast to evening, adding an elegant presence and a colourful experience to your living space.

Kinto Coffee Products
1 – Kinto mug (320ml – roughly 10 oz capacity)
Handcrafted porcelain mug, the mug for your filter coffee, batch brew or why not, your hot chocolate. A wide handle has been shaped so that you can unwind and enjoy the moment.
Up to 4 colours available: White X Pink Beige, Moss Green X Yellow, Navy X White and Black X Brown. Here at Coffeextraction, we are a big fan of the first one.
Although it’s dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing due to the delicate nature of the product. Microwave safe. Do not use any abrasive sponges or scouring pads.

2 – Kinto OCT cup & saucer (220ml – roughly 7 1/2 oz capacity)
Whether in a coffee shop or at home, this cup matches perfectly your latte or cappuccino drink. We keep the same recommendations made for the previous item and we add another one: this cup is really fragile so be careful to not scratch or hit into any surface.
And, in addition to that, be extremely careful to hold the cup along with the saucer when taking it with you as the whole thing is quite slippery.
Up to 4 colours available: White, Moss Green, Brown and Black. This time we like the white one, for a matter of contrast with the coffee inside the cup and our black desk.

3 – Kinto Pebble cup & saucer (180ml – roughly 6 oz capacity)
Suitable for flat white, this cup looks as tiny as comfortable to handle. The shape of the cup reminds me of when I was a child and I used to warm my hands holding my grandmother’s vintage cup.
It’s such a great feeling holding this cup and also it makes everything easier when swirling your espresso shot without using a spoon.

4 – Kinto cast espresso cup
Specially designed for a coffee shop environment to satisfy customer’s requests by splitting two shots of coffee in two different espresso cup.
Suitable for any single shot latte, cappuccino, mocha or whatever.
Heat-resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe.

5 – Kinto coffee carafe
The kinto coffee carafe consists of a complete set for brewing filter coffee.
It features a carafe with 600ml of capacity so that you can brew up to roughly 3 cups of coffee. Then there’s the brewer which is pretty similar to a V60 dripper and a set of 20 paper filter.
Suitable mostly for home use. Also available the Kinto coffee carafe with 300ml of capacity for a single cup of filter coffee.
