Edido coffee – Barn’s coffee roastery
Edido is an Ethiopian washed coffee that grows in the Aricha area of Yirgacheffe. We tried it as an espresso (double extraction shot of course!).
This heirloom varietal grows at an altitude of 1900-2100 meters and after two days of fermentation, the beans are sun-dried on raised beds in the sun for approximately two weeks.
The flavour is tropical and floreal; it’s super fruity with ripe peach and bergamot notes in the cup. The final is really acidic.
The coffee is available on Barn’s website in 250 grams or 1 kilo at the price of 12/48 euro.
